AI for Head CT

AI for head CT can analyze brain scans with up to 99% accuracy and deliver results within 3 minutes of examination. The system has been trained on more than 94 million images (approximately 300,000 examinations) and can detect a total of 30 findings, including hemorrhages, tumors, infarctions, and edema. Thanks to easy integration via cloud or on-premise solutions, it works without interfering with the existing workflow and is compatible with both PACS and DICOM environments.

AI accelerates diagnosis and saves lives

Deploying AI for head CT brings measurable results: in emergency departments, the average patient stay was reduced by 69 minutes for strokes, 66 minutes for hemorrhages, and 33 minutes for head injuries. In addition, the system identifies approximately 1 previously overlooked hemorrhage per 100 CT examinations.

AI for head CT is part of the extended Horizon by Carebot portfolio, which brings together solutions from Carebot and our close partners. Within this portfolio, we provide BrainScan CT (developed and owned by BrainScan).

Speeds up the workflow

Artificial intelligence may one day replace the need for a second reading by a radiologist. Even today, however, it can speed up the entire CT head evaluation process and provide physicians with a tool that helps them efficiently process large volumes of scans. This allows patients to receive the necessary care faster and with a lower risk of delays.

Helps determine the correct diagnosis

AI can help doctors more accurately identify both positive, false positive, and negative findings in CT head scans – for example, in cases of suspected bleeding, trauma, or stroke. This supports accurate diagnostics and saves time not only for doctors and patients but also resources for the healthcare system.

Easy implementation

AI systems for CT head analysis can be easily integrated into existing hospital systems. This makes their deployment quick and does not require complex technical adjustments or long-term staff training.

Cooperation

We are open to collaboration with doctors, hospitals, and the health system. Our goal is to bring much-needed data processing to healthcare. Interested in bringing AI to healthcare?
