Why Carebot Exists
When workload increases, reliable support makes sense
The number of medical images physicians must interpret each year continues to grow, while the number of physicians remains the same. The result is greater pressure, less time per case, and a higher risk that small but clinically important findings may be overlooked.
Carebot was created from the belief that technology should support physicians, not burden them. We combined clinical expertise, data science, and artificial intelligence to build a tool that acts as a quiet third eye. It helps detect findings early, speeds up image interpretation, and fits naturally into existing PACS environments without disrupting workflow.

An aging population, physician shortages, and increasing efficiency demands are changing how diagnostics are delivered. Our vision is to help hospitals manage this change with confidence and safety.
We are expanding our portfolio of modules, launching new pilot projects with university hospitals, and developing collaborations across Europe and globally, including the Middle East. Above all, we continuously improve a tool that performs reliably in real-world clinical practice.

A team bridging medicine, AI and real clinical practice
Matěj Misař
CEO
Matěj Misař is a co-founder and CEO of the company. His previous professional experience comes from the media, where he hosted major news programs and public affairs debates. He has received several awards for his work, including Personality.AI 2024, EY Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and HN Innovators of the Year. He is actively involved in the development of AI in healthcare as a member of advisory boards of the Czech Association of Artificial Intelligence and the Ministry of Health. He regularly speaks at European conferences and visits hospitals across Europe, sharing hands-on experience with AI implementation in clinical practice. He is the author of several strategic documents including an AI handbook for hospitals across the Czech Republic.
Daniel Kvak
CTO
Daniel Kvak is the originator of the idea behind Carebot and currently serves as the company’s CTO. Leveraging his deep expertise in artificial intelligence, particularly in healthcare, he has co-authored several award-winning scientific studies and acts as a reviewer for the prestigious journal European Radiology. He has received multiple awards and was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022. He is responsible for the complete development of Carebot’s solutions.
Marek Řehoř
COO
Marek Řehoř joined Carebot at its earliest stage and played a key role in building the company from the ground up. He was instrumental in establishing internal operations and scaling company processes.. As COO, he oversees operations, finance, and HR, as well as data security and governance, grant management, and internal operations. He has long focused on the practical integration of AI into clinical workflows in collaboration with hospitals in the Czech Republic and abroad. In parallel, he is a PhD candidate in Healthcare Management at the Prague University of Economics and Business, focusing on public healthcare financing and the economic evaluation of innovative technologies.
Daniel Dufek
Head of R&D
Daniel Dufek has been focused on healthcare since his studies, which he completed in biomedical engineering. He gained his initial professional experience developing medical devices at BTL, where he worked for three years. He then spent another three years as a developer and team leader at the General University Hospital in Prague. He joined Carebot with the goal of building and leading the development team, which he successfully achieved. Today, he is a key figure responsible for the company’s technological development.
